According to TechFlame, DeFilLama founder 0xngmi said in a social networking platform that DeFilLama found that the assets on the Figure chain are seriously inconsistent with the transaction volume: there are very few BTC and ETH reserves, the supply of its own stablecoins is limited, most loans are still processed in fiat currency, and there are almost no on-chain transactions. It is suspected that most of its TVL may just be a mirror of the internal database, not real tradable assets.
As part of due diligence, DeFilLama has discussed their TVL data (claimed to be $12 billion) with the Figure team in a Telegram group chat and raised a number of system and issue-related questions.
However, a person who knows the whole process spread rumors on X (formerly Twitter) that DeFilLama refused to be listed because of the number of fans on the X platform, and some even suggested that DeFilLama charges a fee to be listed, which is completely untrue. In fact, DeFilLama has never rejected any projects or charged any fees due to the number of fans, and still insists on strict due diligence to ensure that the data is true and reliable.
