According to a Caixin report, Xinhuo Technology CEO Weng Xiaoqi said that DAT, cryptocurrency ETFs, and traditional virtual asset exchanges all essentially provide an entry point for capital into cryptocurrency trading; before the advent of cryptocurrency ETFs, exchanges were mainstream, but now the carriers of cryptocurrency transactions are evolving to lightweight methods. Currently, DAT is the lightest way for traditional investors to enter the crypto world.
A senior digital asset investor, who did not wish to be named, told Caixin that although DAT can do the Hong Kong stock market, it was discovered through communication with Hong Kong regulators that Hong Kong does not have a high level of approval for this direction, and market participants may also need to lobby for local regulation.
