According to TechFlame, according to official sources, the IEEE P3220.02 “Blockchain-based Decentralized Storage Protocol” standard has been officially completed. CESS Network, the decentralized data infrastructure CESS Network, led the working group meeting for confirmation before review, and officially submitted to the IEEE SA for review on September 1, 2025. This marks a critical step on the path to international standardization of decentralized storage. As the initiator and main contributor, CESS actively participated in the design of technical frameworks, compliance requirements and application scenarios in the standard setting process to promote greater verifiability, compliance and implementability of decentralized storage.
