TechFlame reports that according to the US Department of Justice, a Florida man was jailed for 47 years in September last year for planning a series of violent house robberies against cryptocurrency holders, and was given an additional sentence last week for assaulting a witness. Remy St Felix (Remy St Felix), 25, was sentenced to an additional 7 years in prison for attacking a witness who testified about his involvement in a large-scale house robbery. According to the official press release, some cryptocurrency holders have been beaten and tied to nylon ties in this series of cases. Authorities said that in October of last year, at a North Carolina detention center, St. Felix approached a shackled and handcuffed witness and assaulted him on the face, head, and body. The incident occurred after St. Felix was convicted on 9 counts, including kidnapping and carrying a gun to commit a violent crime. He allegedly called the witness a “traitor” (rat) during the attack.
