TechFlame news, August 31. According to CoinDesk, André Dragosch, head of European research at Bitwise Asset Management, said that investors don't need to choose between gold and Bitcoin; the two should assume different hedging roles in their portfolios.

He pointed out that

• gold is more suitable as a safe-haven tool when the stock market falls, and data supports this view: since 2025, against the backdrop of increased stock market
volatility, gold has risen by more than 30%; under pressure from the

• bond market, Bitcoin has

maintained an increase of 16.46%.

Dragosch suggests that given the nature of the two assets to hedge against different risks, a wise investment strategy is to hold both at the same time rather than completely abandoning either of them.
