TechFlame reported live that on August 26, at WebX 2025 held in Japan, Galaxy founder Mike Novogratz said that Galaxy shares will soon be tokenized and launched on Superstate. He expects this process to progress faster than expected.
He emphasized that asset tokenization will be the general trend in the future, and with the development of technology, artificial intelligence will use stablecoins to achieve transactions on the blockchain. He believes that the boundary between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) is becoming increasingly blurred.
From the perspective of market participants, they believe that the tokenization of assets is significant. On the one hand, it can promote financial democratization. For example, young people in Cambodia or Zimbabwe can easily hold shares of companies such as SoftBank, Apple, and Galaxy in the future through mobile phones. On the other hand, for non-traditional assets such as private equity funds, tokenization will greatly enhance the ease of transfer. Currently, the private equity fund share sale process is complicated, and it can be easily traded after tokenization. Novogratz believes that the significant increase in liquidity brought about by the tokenization of assets will further drive up asset prices.
