According to TechFlame, the US stock SOL treasury company DeFi Development Corp (DFDV) announced today that it has signed a final agreement to raise $125 million in equity at a price of $12.5 per share.
The deal is expected to close on Thursday, August 28, 2025, subject to regular delivery conditions.
Under the terms of the subscription agreement, the company will sell a total of approximately 4.2 million shares of common stock (purchase price of $12.5 per share), and advance warrants (purchase price of $12.4999 per share, exercise price of $0.0001 per share) for a total of approximately 5.7 million common shares.
The offering consideration will take the form of a combination of cash and hedge SOL to further strengthen DFDV's strategy to maximize Solana holdings (SPS) growth per share.
The net capital raised will be used to increase spot SOL holdings and hedge SOL at a discount, thereby expanding the size of treasury assets.
