According to TechFlame, the Dow Jones Index opened on August 21 (Thursday) and fell 248.72 points, or 0.55%, to 44,689.59 points; the Nasdaq Composite Index opened down 85.4 points, or 0.4%, to 21,087.46 points; and the S&P 500 opened down 25.91 points, or 0.41%, to 6,369.88 points.
