According to TechFlame, Cointelegraph reports that cryptographic security platform Kerberus announced a seven-digit acquisition of Refract, the developer of the fraud-protection browser extension Pocket Universe. Following this acquisition, Kerberus plans to integrate Pocket Universe with its secure extension Sentinel3 and extend protection to all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains and Solana networks. Company CEO Alex Katz said they are working on the industry's first dedicated cryptocurrency antivirus to address today's biggest security threat — malware attacks. Pocket Universe founders Justin Phu and Nishan Samarasinghe will exit operations but continue to support the Kerberus team. Meanwhile, Crypto Banter founder Ran Neuner will join as a strategic advisor.
