TechFlame reports that SOLOWIN, a digital asset finance company listed on NASDAQ, announced that it has reached an equity investment agreement with GPL Remittance, a Singaporean cross-border payment institution, to acquire 19% of its shares. The specific investment amount has not yet been disclosed. The latter currently holds a major payment institution (MPI) license issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Earlier, SOLOWIN announced that it will jointly launch a $100 million Bitcoin quantitative fund and invest in Bitcoin using data-driven algorithmic trading strategies.
