TechFlame news, August 18. According to Golden Ten Data, the Jackson Hole seminar was the focus of this week. Bank of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) economist ShWetha Sunilkumar said that Federal Reserve Chairman Powell bluntly stated the reason for the upcoming interest rate cut at the conference last year, but Powell probably won't be so outspoken this year. Sunilkumar added that Powell may say it is more likely that further easing policies will be implemented this year, but will not promise a specific time. Inflation concerns have intensified, especially after the July service sector and producer price data released last week were stronger than expected. She also pointed out that some regional Federal Reserve officials have become more cautious about future easing schedules. The bank's benchmark forecast still believes that the Federal Reserve
will cut interest rates at the September meeting.
