TechFlame reports that according to the survey results released by the Pew Research Center, US President Trump's tariff policy and the “big but beautiful” tax and expenditure bill all had higher opposition ratings than approval ratings across the US. 61% of respondents opposed the tariff policy; only 38% supported it; 46% opposed the “big and beautiful” bill, 32% supported it, and another 23% made no statement. According to the survey, 53% of Americans think Trump has made the operation of the federal government worse, 27% think it has improved, and 20% think the changes are mixed. Trump's overall approval rating was 38%, down 9 percentage points from when he first took office.
