According to TechFlame, according to official sources, Chainlink has reached a partnership with the New York Stock Exchange parent company Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) to introduce foreign exchange and precious metals pricing data into the blockchain network.
This collaboration connects ICE's “Global Consolidated Feed” (Consolidated Feed) to Chainlink's “Data Streams Service” (Data Streams). The data source covers market data from more than 300 exchanges and trading platforms around the world, and currently provides services for more than 2000 on-chain applications, financial institutions and infrastructure providers.
Officials said that by integrating ICE data, Chainlink aims to provide a pricing data stream that meets the accuracy and latency requirements of traditional capital markets. This standard is expected to support the development of next-generation tokenized assets, automated settlement systems, and other institutional blockchain applications. This move is in line with the industry trend of accelerated integration of blockchain and traditional financial instruments. Currently, large banks and asset management companies are actively promoting the tokenization process of “real world assets” (RWA) such as bonds, commodities, and funds.
