


TechFlame news, August 8, according to Cryptonews, National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Governor Andriy Pyshnyy said he supports legalization of cryptocurrencies but not as a means of payment. He stressed that the legalization of cryptocurrencies should not weaken the effectiveness of the central bank's monetary policy tools
.Meanwhile, Pyshnyy revealed that NBU is testing a digital currency (CBDC) architecture model and is preparing for a pilot project. In view of Ukraine's European integration process, the NBU is paying special attention to the development of digital euro
projects and is currently cooperating with the European Central Bank, the Bundesbank, the National Bank of Belgium, the Bank of France, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
