TechFlame reported that on July 29, Ika Network was officially launched based on Sui and introduced its core object dWalletCap, opening a new era of Web3 interoperability, giving Sui smart contracts the ability to manage other blockchain assets.
The release of Ika enables developers to build applications on Sui that can manage assets across multiple networks, leveraging assets in the wider blockchain world. Before Ika appeared, developers had to choose a chain to connect to their asset ecosystem; now, developers can build projects on Sui and interact with multi-chain assets through Ika. Currently, multiple ecosystem partners including Native, Human Tech, Rhei Finance, Aeon, Nativerse, and Ekko have taken the lead
in integrating Ika Network.Built on Sui's high-performance architecture, Ika has the ability to scale 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) and supports hundreds of signature nodes to provide security under a zero trust architecture. At the same time, Ika's successful launch has further made Sui a command center for decentralized cross-chain coordination.
reported that as an innovative infrastructure based on multi-party secure computing (MPC) technology, Ika Network aims to solve the problem of cross-chain interoperability of assets. The 2PC-MPC encryption mechanism is the core of the network. With Sui's consensus mechanism Mysticeti, 2PC-MPC made Ika the first sub-second MPC network, which not only has zero trust security, but also has extremely high scalability and speed. Earlier, Ika announced that it has received a strategic investment from
the Sui Foundation.
