According to TechFlame, according to Reuters, Yingtou Securities is considering launching a stablecoin for its clients. The report quoted Thomas Peterffy, founder of Yingtou Securities, as saying that the integration will provide round-the-clock stablecoin financing for brokerage accounts and asset transfer services for commonly used cryptocurrencies. This isn't the brokerage giant's first foray into the cryptocurrency industry.
According to reports, the company integrated cryptocurrency trading and escrow services at the end of 2021, covering the four types of assets: BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH, and expanded support for SOL, ADA, XRP, and DOGE in March.
Additionally, the company holds shares in the cryptocurrency trading platform Zero Hash and has formed a partnership with stablecoin issuer Paxos.
Currently, Thomas Peterffy has not decided how to launch stablecoins and is considering integrating stablecoins issued by other companies, depending on their credibility.
