TechFlame reports that Ji Hun Kim, a former executive of crypto trading platforms Gemini and Kraken, has been officially named CEO of the Crypto Innovation Council (CCI). Kim previously worked at Gemini for three years and less than a year at Kraken, then served as CCI's chief legal and policy officer. Kim has been the organization's interim CEO since December 2024. CCI is one of the leading industry advocacy organizations that regularly advises US legislators and regulators on digital assets policies. Kim said in a statement that this is a critical period for the development of the industry, and there is a need to build a bridge between technology and public policy.
