As the world's largest smart contract blockchain, Ethereum hosts 1,271 protocols, yet 88% (1,121 projects) have not generated any revenue in the past 30 days, according to DeFilLama data. The Solana ecosystem is smaller, hosting 264 protocols, 75% of which have not generated revenue in the past few days.
