On July 22, according to The Miner Mag, Bitcoin mining company Mawson has fired CEO Rahul Mewalla for breaching fiduciary duties and suspected fraud, and has filed a lawsuit in the US Delaware court, according to TechFlame. Rahul Mewawalla later said in a letter to the board of directors on July 17 that he “respects but resolutely” objected to the company's description of the incident, and indicated that the board had publicly praised his leadership skills earlier this year. Previously, Mawson was sued by NYDIG parent company Stone Ridge and its subsidiary Consensus Colocation for unauthorized control of NYDIG's $30 million ASIC mining rig.
