According to TechFlame, according to Cointelegraph, the crypto trading platform OpenSea is expanding its business into the non-NFT sector due to the continued decline in digital collectibles trading volume and increased competition.
OpenSea previously announced that it has acquired Rally, a mobile-focused token trading platform, with the aim of boosting its mobile layout and enhancing token trading capabilities. OpenSea said it will build a “full-chain integrated application” in the future to provide users with a new user experience.
Chris Maddern, co-founder of Rally and current Chief Technology Officer of OpenSea, said the move would integrate “the best resources in the field of cryptography” and bring everything together in one platform. The vision for this new mobile-oriented NFT platform is to create a “one-stop” app for members of the crypto community where users can find everything they need. The app will integrate NFTs, tokens, and decentralized finance (DeFi) features.
