TechFlame reports that the World Bank lowered the 2025 global GDP growth forecast by 0.4 percentage points to 2.3%, the lowest level in five years. This will be the weakest growth in 17 years, with the exception of 2008 and 2020. Furthermore, the US economy is expected to grow by 1.4% this year, lower than the 2.3% forecast earlier. The global economic growth rate for the first seven years of this century is expected to average 2.5%, the slowest decade since the 1960s.
