TechFlame News: Jiang Zhuoer, founder of the B.TOP mining pool, stated that Bitcoin's previous three major bottoms were all accompanied by "high losses and high volatility," whereas the current market shows "losses that aren't high enough and relatively low volatility." He believes that rather than betting on this being an unprecedented "calm bottom," it's more prudent to view it as a "breathing phase" during the bottoming-out process.
Jiang Zhuoer cited the 2018 market as an example, when BTC's $6,000 level was tested multiple times and was widely seen by investors as a floor that wouldn't break. Before the breakdown, BTC traded sideways in the $6,000–$7,000 range for about two and a half months, which bears a striking resemblance to the current two-month sideways movement in the $60,000–$70,000 range—before the price subsequently fell to $3,000.
