TechFlame News — According to The Block, Standard Chartered Bank covered Morpho for the first time on Wednesday, setting a target price of $60 for its native token MORPHO by the end of 2030, implying a potential upside of approximately 2,787%.
In a report, Standard Chartered’s Head of Global Digital Assets Research, Geoff Kendrick, provided yearly projections: $3.5 in 2026, $11 in 2027, $22 in 2028, $40 in 2029, and $60 in 2030.
The report noted that Morpho is the second-largest decentralized lending protocol after Aave, with Morpho Markets currently holding approximately $5.5 billion in deposits and Morpho Vaults managing around $4.3 billion. Analysts believe that as the total assets in DeFi are expected to grow 37-fold by 2030, Morpho stands to benefit from this expansion.
Standard Chartered previously projected that by 2030, UNI could see an upside of roughly 34 times, while AAVE could see an upside of about 38 times.
