**TechFlame News** – According to the April 2026 corporate adoption report published by BitcoinTreasuries.net, listed companies and corporate treasuries collectively added 64,722 BTC in April, with a net increase of approximately 57,791 BTC — making it one of the largest Bitcoin-buying months since mid-2025. Among them, Strategy accumulated 56,235 BTC in April, primarily funded through ATM (at-the-market) equity offerings from STRC and MSTR. The report shows that STRC contributed $3.3 billion in financing between April 1 and May 3, accounting for roughly 80% of Strategy’s total ATM capital raise of $4.1 billion during the same period — a new monthly record.
The report noted that in April alone, BTC purchases by corporate treasury departments were nearly as large as the total net buying volume over the previous two quarters combined, signaling a strong start to Q2. In addition, Bitcoin ETFs now hold or provide exposure to approximately 1.5 million BTC — about 300,000 more than the combined holdings of publicly listed companies. Among them, BlackRock’s IBIT and Strategy are in fierce competition over BTC holdings. As of May 5, Strategy holds 818,334 BTC, while IBIT holds approximately 818,147 BTC.
The report also mentioned that corporate holdings of altcoins now total around $22 billion, with ETH reserves accounting for approximately $16.2 billion.
