As the U.S.-Israel war against Iran continues, the Trump administration is clearly divided on how to proceed. Andrea Dressi, Assistant Professor of International Relations and Global Politics at the University of Rome, stated: "We see the U.S. goals constantly shifting, strategies constantly changing, and targets continuously being adjusted. Although the Trump administration is trying to 'project strength' through social media, in reality, within the U.S. government, we are witnessing growing divisions, increasing disagreements, and the dismissal of multiple senior officials from the Pentagon and the Department of Defense. All of this reinforces the analysis that the U.S. and Israel launched this war based on 'a serious miscalculation of the potential consequences of this conflict, or a lack of strategic thinking.'
