According to CoinDesk, the crypto whale known by the code name Loracle closed its short position on crude oil perpetual futures on the Hyperliquid platform early Wednesday, netting a profit of $2 million. Last week, Loracle had opened the position with $5 million and exited profitably after oil prices plunged over 15% following news of a ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Data from Arkham Intelligence shows that Loracle currently holds assets including USDT, USDC, and ETH, with a total value exceeding $8 million. Additionally, in the past 24 hours, the trading volume for WTI crude oil perpetual futures on the Hyperliquid platform reached $2.45 billion, surpassing that of Ethereum perpetual futures.
