Two French teenagers were arrested for kidnapping a cryptocurrency figure with explosives, leading to a police helicopter pursuit.

TechFlame News reports that according to DL News, police in the Île-de-France region of France have arrested two teenagers (aged 15 and 17) and a 35-year-old man. The three are suspected of carrying out two armed robberies targeting cryptocurrency holders in the Île-de-France region on March 10.
It is reported that the first incident occurred in the Essonne department, a southern suburb of Paris. The suspects, wearing masks and carrying small explosive devices, attempted to break into the home of a cryptocurrency holder but were unsuccessful. Approximately 30 minutes later, another incident took place in the Seine-et-Marne department, where the suspects successfully broke into the residence of a female cryptocurrency holder, held her family hostage, and stole jewelry. Whether any crypto assets were also stolen has not been disclosed.
Police later tracked the suspects' vehicle, deploying around 100 armed tactical officers and two police helicopters in a pursuit that lasted about six hours before intercepting the vehicle. Stolen jewelry was found inside the car. The prosecutor has filed charges against the three individuals, including extortion, organized crime, armed robbery, property damage, and kidnapping. Currently, the 17-year-old suspect and the 35-year-old man are being held in pre-trial detention, while the 15-year-old suspect is under judicial supervision. The prosecutor has appealed the decision regarding the 15-year-old.
