TechFlame reports that Advanced Machine Intelligence Labs (AMI Labs), an artificial intelligence company founded by former Meta Platforms Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun, has announced the completion of a $1.03 billion funding round. The round was co-led by Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, Hiro Capital, HV Capital, and Bezos Expeditions, with participation from other investors and angel investors worldwide. This funding has pushed the valuation of the French company to $3.5 billion. Yann LeCun stated that AMI Labs aims to develop an AI with intelligence comparable to that of an adult human, capable of reasoning, planning, understanding the physical world, and learning autonomously from minimal examples.
