According to The Block, in August last year, the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office in South Korea lost Bitcoin seized from a gambling platform to hackers (approximately 320.8 BTC, valued between $21 million and $29 million at the time) after investigators mistakenly accessed a phishing website and entered a recovery seed phrase. On February 18, the hackers returned all 320.8 BTC (worth approximately $21.4 million) to the wallet held by the prosecutors. Subsequently, the funds were transferred to a local exchange for secure custody. The prosecutors froze the hackers' wallet transactions, making it difficult for them to liquidate the assets, which may have been the primary reason for the return. The identity of the hackers remains unknown.
