TechFlame reports that Espresso Systems, a Rollups infrastructure layer, has announced the launch of its cross-chain transaction solution, Presto. Leveraging Espresso's fast finality, Presto can reduce cross-chain latency to under two seconds. Additionally, the Espresso Foundation has partnered with ApeChain, a blockchain developed by Rarible and Yuga Labs, the creators of BAYC, to initiate the first seamless cross-chain NFT minting based on Espresso technology on ApeChain and RARI Chain. This minting will be conducted in two phases on the Rarible platform, which has integrated Presto. The first phase has already commenced, featuring the release of the RARI series NFTs on ApeChain. Users can mint NFTs on ApeChain using funds from RARI without the need for manual cross-chain transfers or paying gas fees. Minting with RARI requires a cost of 0.001 ETH (approximately $3). The second phase is set to begin on December 15, where the ApeChain series will be launched on RARI Chain, allowing users to mint using funds from ApeChain.
