TechFlame reports that Yearn has issued a statement confirming that its yETH stable pool was attacked on November 30 at 21:11 UTC. The attacker exploited a custom contract to mint a large amount of yETH, resulting in approximately $8 million in losses from the pool, with an additional $900,000 in losses from the yETH-WETH pool on Curve. Yearn stated that the affected code is not related to any other products, and both V2 and V3 Vaults remain unaffected. They noted that the complexity of the incident is similar to the previous Balancer attack. The team is currently collaborating with SEAL911 and auditing firm Chain Security to investigate the matter.
