According to TechFlame, BlackRock has registered the name "iShares Staked Ethereum Trust" in Delaware, signaling its intention to launch a new Ethereum staking ETF. The registration was submitted by Daniel Schweiger, a managing director at BlackRock, who previously handled the registration of the first iShares Ethereum fund in 2023. Earlier, Nasdaq filed an amendment application in July to incorporate staking functionality into the existing iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA). ETHA currently manages approximately $11.5 billion in assets, making it the largest Ethereum ETF by market size.
