TechFlame News, November 18 – According to CoinDesk, Mastercard has announced its selection of Polygon to power its new system, which enables users to send cryptocurrencies by verifying usernames instead of lengthy wallet addresses.

The Polygon network will process these transactions with high speed and low fees. Raj Dhamodharan, Executive Vice President of Blockchain and Digital Assets at Mastercard, stated that by simplifying wallet addresses and incorporating meaningful verification, this credential system is building trust in digital token transfers, making digital assets more accessible.
