TechFlame reports, on November 13, according to Lookonchain monitoring, an attacker launched an attack on the Hyperliquid platform by manipulating the price of POPCAT, resulting in a loss of $3 million of their own funds and causing Hyperliquid liquidity providers (HLP) to lose $4.9 million.

The attacker withdrew $3 million in USDC from OKX yesterday, distributed it across 19 wallets, and then deposited it into the Hyperliquid platform to open a long position of 125.14 million HYPE, valued at $26.28 million.
