TechFlame reports, citing Lianhe Zaobao, that the Monetary Authority of Singapore has launched an investigation into the local single-family office DW Capital Holdings linked to the "Prince Group." It is reported that the institution was established in 2018 by Chen Zhi, the head of the "Prince Group," with assets under management exceeding S$60 million. It claims to meet the conditions of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Section 13X scheme, thereby enjoying tax exemptions. Data shows that the number of single-family offices granted tax incentives by the Monetary Authority of Singapore increased from 1,400 at the end of 2023 to over 2,000 by the end of 2024, a surge of 42.9%.
