According to TechFlame, according to PR Newswire, BitMine Immersion Technologies today announced that its total portfolio of crypto assets, cash, and “long-term investments” has reached $13.4 billion.
As of 6:30 p.m. ET on October 19, the company's crypto holdings included: 3,236,014 ETH, 192 BTC, $119 million Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) shares, and $219 million in unrestricted cash.
Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine and analyst at Fundstrat, said: “Last week, the crypto market experienced the largest deleveraging incident in history, which put pressure on the price of ETH. Currently, the volume of open ETH contracts has fallen back to the level of June 30 of this year (ETH was $2,500 at the time).
Given Ethereum's anticipated supercycle, the current price misalignment shows a very attractive risk-reward ratio. We have increased our holdings by 203,826 ETH over the past week, bringing our total holdings to 3.24 million, or 2.7% of the total ETH supply.”
