According to TechFlame, the dark pool trading platform HumidiFi has become the largest trading platform on the Solana chain, with a record transaction volume of 34 billion US dollars in the past month. HumidiFi surpassed Meteora, a liquidity protocol with a transaction volume of $31 billion, and overtook Solana's veteran DEX Raydium ($21 billion), and the platform's average daily transaction volume was often difficult to break through $100 million three months ago. Dark pool trading platforms (also known as dark pool automated market makers or self-operated market makers) are a type of trading platform on the Solana blockchain, which has soared in popularity in recent months. Unlike Uniswap, the largest decentralized trading platform, dark pool market makers operate in the background. They usually don't have an official website, and they don't allow users to provide liquidity to earn exchange fees. Such platforms often rely entirely on the liquidity provided by their creators (usually anonymous), and only accept transactions routed through transaction aggregators such as Jupiter. Although dark pool market makers are more transparent than centralized trading platforms because all transactions are publicly available on the chain, they are less transparent in other ways. Dark pool operators usually choose to conceal their identity because they only connect to aggregators and do not directly target traders. HumidiFi's development team remains anonymous, although their X account dynamics suggest that their identity may be revealed soon.
