On September 26, Scilex Holdings (NASDAQ: SCLX) announced today that it will invest $150 million in Bitcoin in Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT). The investment aims to accelerate the construction of Datavault's supercomputing infrastructure and the expansion of an independent data exchange platform. Under the agreement, Scilex will receive approximately 279 million shares of Datavault common stock at a price of approximately US$0.54 per share. The partnership will focus on the biotech data monetization market, which is expected to reach US$30-50 billion in 2024. Datavault will use its Web 3.0 and blockchain technology to provide data security and monetization solutions for the biotech sector.
