


TechFlame reported that on September 21, the Shibarium cross-chain bridge connecting the Layer2 network Shibarium to Ethereum was previously attacked by flash loans, and approximately $2.4 million in ETH and SHIB was stolen. Currently, Shibarium has released a security incident update, which states: 1. Specific bridging operations have been restricted to prevent new unauthorized transactions; 2. Upgrading and limiting paths that may be misused (deposits/withdrawals/claims/rewards), and added Targeted defense control to prevent misuse of entrustment stakes; 3. Restore and protect at-risk BONE held at the level of pledge managers; 4. Rotate validator signers to migrate contract control to multi-party hardware storage; continue extensive migration from legacy keys; 5. Monitor attackers' traffic in real time; automatically issue alerts and reports to partners and exchanges; 6. Hire independent security researchers, incident response companies, and relevant departments
